Ohr Naava provides continuing Torah
education for women, ages 17-120.
Rabbi Zechariah Wallerstein, Founder and Director of Ohr Naava Women's
Torah Center, had the insight to open a center that deals directly with the multi faceted
needs of today's Jewish girls and women. Under his guidance, Ohr Naava was born.
Started in Brooklyn, New York, as a shiur of thirty girls on Tisha
B'av, today Ohr Naava's members span the globe.
Ohr Naava's full evening program allows women to go about their busy daily lives, and then
have a place of their own where they can enjoy a shiur or class, have dinner, relax with friends,
and have a community center created just for them. Open every night of the week, Ohr Naava
offers a healthy and fun way to socialize, network, grow and change — a place to feel at home.
Ohr Naava was founded in loving memory of Naava Katlowitz a"h, a
woman who was a paragon of growth, humility and elegance.
